My virtual machine is unable to boot all of a sudden.

Please try to connect to the server via the console first.

If you cannot access the server even via the console, then you should try rebooting the server in the recovery mode.

Once you boot the server in the recovery mode, please check if there is any data corruption in the server.  

If you find a data corruption, then you should try FSCK but please make sure to take a backup beforehand. Should you need further assistance, you may contact support at supportus@gmocloud.com
