I am unable to perform any operations on the virtual machine created from the Cloud Console.

As a protective measure, the virtual machine may lock when you attempt another operation while a current processing has not completed yet.

In a locked condition, all processing is put in a pending state and action headings are no longer displayed.
When working from the Cloud Console, please wait for the current process to complete before attempting the next operation.
