attachNetworkInterface

Process Overview of the Function

Network interface is added to the specified virtual server.

Request Parameters

Specify the following parameters when executing this function.

Identifier

VM Identifier

Specify the identifier of a virtual server.
The virtual server identifier can be obtained from the 4.1. listNodes function.
In the 4.1. listNodes function response object, the corresponding field is, identifier.

label

Label

Specify the identification label to be given to the network interface being added.

rate_limit

Bandwidth [Mbps]

Specify the port speed to allocate to the network interface to be added.
Unit is in Mbps.

network_id

Network ID

Specify the ID of the network which will attach the network interface to be added.
The network_id can be obtained from the 8.1. listNetworks function.
In the 8.1. listNetworks function response object, the corresponding field is, id.

primary

Primary Specification

Specify whether to define the network interface to be added as the primary interface or not.

1 : Define as primary interface
0 : Do not define as primary interface

Response Object

If the request to add the specified network interface is successful then The following format is used in the response.

FieldDescription
network_interface_id

Returns the id allocated to the network interface that is added.

If the request to add the specified network interface failed then the resulting error message is returned.
