About the Cloud Console

GMO Cloud Hosting is a resource-type cloud service which lets users flexibly decide and change the number of virtual servers and resources (CPU, memory, bandwidth, etc). The Cloud Console is a resources management tool that allows creation and modification of virtual machines through a user-friendly interface.

How to Access the Cloud Console:

The Cloud Console may be accessed from the Cloud Portal (http://my.gmocloud.us). The portal provides a single sign-on meaning that you only need to log-in once (ID/Password).

Aside from the creation of virtual machines, auto-scale setting, here are other functions that can be performed through the cloud console:

Virtual machine Basic operations Display of virtual machine list Virtual servers created in the Cloud system.
Creation Virtual servers are created in the Cloud system.
Activation Virtual servers which have been suspended are activated.
Reboot Virtual servers are rebooted.
Reboot in recovery mode Virtual servers are rebooted in recovery mode.
Activate in recovery mode Virtual servers are activated in recovery mode.
Shut down (Suspension) Virtual servers are shut down.
Power off Power of virtual machines is terminated.
Removal Virtual servers are removed.
Hot migration Hot migration of virtual machinesto other hypervisors.
Cold migration Cold migration of virtual servers to other hypervisors.
Change of root password Users can confirm/change root password.
Reinstalling (Initialization) Virtual servers are reformatted and OS templates are reinstalled.
Separation of virtual machines Users can isolate two or more virtual machines from each other.
Editing of memo (comment) Memos can be added and edited.
Change of resources The number of virtual CPU cores, utilization rate and memory can be changed.
Virtual CPU utilization rate CPU utilization rate is displayed.
Memory utilization rate Memory utilization rate is displayed.
Disk Size utilization rate Disk Size utilization rate is displayed.
Network Confirmation Network interface is confirmed.
Editing Network interface is edited.
Addition Network interface is added.
Deletion Network interface is deleted.
Confirmation of network usage status Network utilization status is confirmed.
IP address Confirmation of IP address IP address assigned to virtual machine can be confirmed.
Addition of IP address IP address is assigned to virtual machine.

Firewall Default Firewall setting Default Firewall rules are set.

Storage Disk setting Edit of disk size, IOPS (writing/reading), chart reference and various settings are arranged.

Backup setting Image backup of virtual machine is set.

Restore Using backup data, data is restored.

Detailed log Current log status is confirmed.
Deletion of log Log is deleted.
Cancellation of all tasks on hold All tasks on hold are cancelled.
Cancellation of all backup processes on hold All backup processes on hold are cancelled.
Tool Confirmation of utilization status Users can view digest information of utilization status of each virtual machine.
Account information User information User information User information is confirmed.
Editing of user information User information is changed.
Time zone setting Users can set time zone for date display and update function. This is reflected in the time settings of virtual machines.
Language setting Language (Japanese/English) is set.
Service fee plan Confirmation of service fee plan Service fee plan and specifications can be confirmed.
