Load Balancer Configuration (Cluster)

Note:  Virtual Machines that will be included on the Load Balancer must have the same IP Address up to 3rd octet. Make sure that it is a Global/Public IP Address.

Example:

  • VM 1: 8.30.165.1   
  • VM 2: 8.30.165.2

STEP 1: Click on "Load Balancers" and Click "Add a new Balancer"

STEP 2: Set up the Load Balancer Port

Configuration: Input ports you want to be included on your Load Balancer

Note: Clicking the “+” will allow you to add and configure more ports on your Load Balancer

STEP 3: Input details on Load Balancer

Instance Note: For Label Special Characters are not accepted. Only alpha numeric characters are accepted.

STEP 4: Select “Cluster” on Load Balancer type and select the Virtual Machine that will be added to the node. Click the "Add Node" button to add additional virtual machines, then click Save .

The load balancer will be created. Wait for the Power status to change to “ON”
