Action of the Virtual Machine

Delete Virtual Machine

With GMO Cloud Public's Cloud console, you can remove the virtual machine by using the delete function.

Caution: To use the delete function on the virtual machine, you will need to first stop the virtual machine that you want to delete.

STEP 1: Select the virtual machine On the left hand menua, click on “Virtual Machines” and select the virtual machine that you want to delete.

STEP 2: Check the status of the virtual machine

Make sure that it is set to the "OFF" state. In the case of the "ON" state, the virtual machine should be stopped using Shut down Virtual Machine action.

STEP 3: Select the Delete Virtual Machine

On the Actions section, click “Delete Virtual Machine”.

STEP 4: The deletion of the virtual machine

The following pop-up menu will appear, then click "Destroy".

During the deletion of the virtual machine (virtual machine list page) the Power supply status will appear as “Pending” as shown on the screen below.

When deletion of the virtual machine is finished, the following screen is displayed. The virtual machine that you deleted will be removed from the list.
