Multi-Location Manual

For more information on multi-location, please refer to the features of GMO Cloud Hosting.

Please note these important points before use:

  • Existing customers already using GMO Cloud Hosting can add Japan (Tokyo) or Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) as an additional location if already using our IDC in the USA (San Jose).
  • New applicants who select the USA (San Jose) as the location during sign-up can add Japan (Tokyo) as an additional location.
  • Existing customers already using GMO Cloud Hosting can add Japan (Tokyo) as an additional location if already using our IDC in the USA (San Jose). Please note you will need to enter into a separate contract for the plan.
  • New applicants who select the USA (San Jose) as the location during sign-up can add Japan (Tokyo) as an additional location. Please note you will need to enter into a separate contract for the plan.
  • A separate plan needs to be contracted for each location.

STEP 1: Log in to GMO Cloud Portal then go to the Account section.

STEP 2: On the Account panel, choose “Services” by clicking on the “Next” button.

STEP 3: On the Services panel, click on “Add service”

STEP 4: You may choose from the available locations on the dropdown menu. Once you have picked the location, you will see a list of Packs that you can choose from. After you have ticked your selected pack, click on “Next”.

STEP 5: Check if you have chosen the correct pack. Once confirmed, click “Next”

The confirmation window will appear stating the service that you have added to your account. You can check the list of locations that you have on your account by clicking on the “Go back to view services” link.

In this window, you will then see that the added location is already included in the list.
